Synergy is excited to be the state sponsor for the CPA Congress in Canberra for the fourth year running, especially as the conference continues to find new ways to deliver a personalised learning experience.
The 2016 Congress commences today at the National Convention Centre and will introduce six new content streams to allow professionals to customise a program tailored to their business objectives.
These include finance fundamentals, strategy and leadership, business trends and impacts, operational transformation, personal development and the sector in focus.
Synergy partner, Mark Pattrick, will open and welcome the local CPA community to the event, before a morning of presentations focussed on the challenges, opportunities and risk management in the public sector.
The 2016 Canberra CPA Congress will offer 45 sessions across the six different content streams, maximising the personal learning experience.
Tomorrow, Synergy team members Paulette Robinson and Selina Stanford will present ‘Taking the pain out of financial statement and audit’ and Anthony Radik will present ‘Information dashboard design’.
Synergy is also sponsoring the business lunch tomorrow, ‘Unmask your potential,’ which will see a presentation from Turia Pitt.
In 2011, Turia Pitt, aged 24, was caught in a freak firestorm while competing in a 100km ultramarathon in Western Australia. She was flown out of the remote desert barely alive with burns to 65 per cent of her body. Turia survived against overwhelming odds and has gone on to thrive in the ultimate story of triumph over adversity.
To celebrate the Congress, we’re running two competitions!
Win a full business day of data visualisation advice from one of our experienced consultants. We can run a training session, build you some visualisations or review your existing reports – whatever suits your needs!
This competition will be drawn at our business lunch and you can enter by placing your business card in the bowl when you visit our booth in the exhibition hall.
Everyone who likes Synergy’s LinkedIn page will also have the chance to win an Apple smartwatch valued at $1500. A winner will be drawn on 2 December.
Synergy is pleased to have continued our partnership with the CPA Congress and look forward to providing a review of the event next week.
