A new format for the 2017 CPA Congress, which commences today at the National Convention Centre, has attracted a variety of global thought leaders to Canberra.
There is no disputing the theme of the event ‘The big minds are coming’, with the three-day conference seeing a variety of key-note speakers covering topics on leadership, agility, insight and technology and digital revolution.
For many agencies and organisations, just like us at Synergy, the CPA Congress offers a networking opportunity like never before, which excites the whole Synergy team, including myself.
It’s a great chance for the people of Synergy to meet like minded professionals and understand what’s going on in the industry, but it also gives us an opportunity to hear from world renowned thought leaders and key note speakers.
The Congress also gives us the chance to participate in some really topical and technical sessions that are very relevant for government at the moment.
The new format features a ‘Make your own program day’, allowing attendees to choose from the different seminars, workshops and masterclasses on offer.
The long list of experts will be covering six categories relevant to the CPA:
- finance fundamentals
- operational transformation
- personal development
- sector in focus
- strategy and leadership
- trends and business impacts.
What’s also exciting is that Canberrans are reaping the benefits of such high calibre speakers, without having to travel far and wide.
Everyone at Synergy is locally based and we all live in Canberra. It’s an honour and a privilege to be the state sponsor of the CPA congress for the 5th year in a row, especially seeing the great impact it has on the industry in the capital.
I am really looking forward to catching up with existing industry contacts, as well as meeting new people throughout the event.
