We’re building our Defence and National Security talent network for potential opportunities with Synergy Group from early 2027 onwards. We're keen to start conversations with experienced Defence professionals who may be considering their next career move.
Who we'd like to connect with
We’re interested in hearing from experienced professionals at Senior Consultant through to Senior Manager level, particularly those with backgrounds across:
- Program and project management
- Change management
- Commercial, procurement and contract advisory
- Supply chain and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)
- Capability development and acquisition
- Business analysis
- Governance, risk and assurance
- Strategic planning and policy
- Business transformation and process improvement
- Defence ICT and digital delivery
- Cyber security
- Strategic and government writing
You may have built your Defence experience within the APS, ADF, Defence industry or consulting. We’re particularly interested in people who bring:
- An active NV1 security clearance or higher
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in Defence environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement, analytical and problem-solving capability
- Experience contributing to complex projects, programs or capability outcomes
- Familiarity with the One Defence Capability System (ODCS)
Defence consulting means being where our clients need us. Depending on the role and engagement, this may involve a combination of working at client sites, from a Synergy office and from home, with onsite requirements varying by client. As a result, this EOI is open to candidates based in Canberra, Brisbane or Melbourne.
